Three days of World Cup racing, two Super-G events, one giant slalom, and a concert in the snow: From December 18 to 20, 2026, St. Moritz will combine world-class skiing with a festival atmosphere at Salastrains. On Saturday, after the race, DODO will provide the soundtrack for the World Cup weekend.
Just before Christmas, Corviglia will once again become the stage for the world’s best female ski racers. The schedule features one Super-G race each on Friday and Saturday, followed by the giant slalom with two runs on Sunday. This final day, in particular, holds added sporting appeal: for the first time since the 2017 Alpine World Ski Championships, the technical specialists in the World Cup will also be returning to St. Moritz.
The first race starts on Friday at 10:30 a.m. The Salastrains Public Village opens as early as 9 a.m. with drinks, food, and party music. The Winners Presentation will take place at the finish line after the race. On Saturday, the second Super-G will also begin at 10:30 a.m. Afterward, the focus will gradually shift from the slopes to the stage.
At 1:00 p.m., Swiss act DODO takes the stage at Salastrains. The musician has been one of the defining figures of dialect reggae and pop for years and is known not only for songs like “Hippie-Bus” but also as a producer for numerous Swiss acts. Set against the backdrop of the finish area, the mountain panorama, and the Public Village, his live set takes place in a setting that has little in common with a traditional concert hall.
Sports, music, and the après-race atmosphere blend together, while the party continues in the Public Village until 4 p.m. Saturday thus serves as the link between racing and the concert day: first, the race for seconds; then, live music.
On Sunday, the Public Village opens as early as 8 a.m. The first run of the giant slalom starts at 9:30 a.m., followed by the second at 12:30 p.m. This is followed by the awards ceremony, a farewell celebration, and the final “good season” vibes at Salastrains. For three days, St. Moritz will thus become not only a gathering place for top-level alpine sports but also a winter stage where racing suits and concert music go together surprisingly well.
