Angelica Moser, Samuel Giger, and Nino Schurter will be in the spotlight at this year's Sporthilfe Super10Kampf, which will take place on October 31, 2025, at the Hallenstadion in Zurich.
When the doors of the Hallenstadion open on October 31, the craziest evening in Swiss sports will begin once again. For the 45th time, the Sporthilfe Super10Kampf will bring together the who's who of the domestic sports scene – Swiss wrestling champions, world champions, and Olympic champions will compete for victory in ingenious games.
The organizers have already announced the first prominent names that will ensure a spectacular competition. Among them are Angelica Moser, the radiant European pole vault champion, Samuel Giger, the 2023 Unspunnen winner, and Nino Schurter, the Swiss MTB Olympic champion, who, despite being 38 years old, is still one of the world's best.
For the first time, the teams will be supported by prominent coaches who will act as trainers, tacticians, and motivators. The names are impressive: Denise Biellmann, the former Swiss figure skater and 1981 world champion, will contribute her experience. The famous Biellmann spin is named after her. Werner Günthör, the shot put legend, will also be on hand as a coach. The three-time world champion and 1988 Olympic bronze medalist is considered the best Swiss shot putter in history. The third coach is Heinz Frei, who enjoys absolute legendary status as a pioneer of wheelchair sports, with 15 Paralympic gold medals in three different sports.
The Sporthilfe Super10Kampf is all about promoting young talent. All proceeds from the event go towards supporting Swiss athletes. Since 1977, the event has become an institution, attracting 12,000 fans to the Hallenstadion every year.
