After a 24-year professional career, Stan Wawrinka will bring an extraordinary chapter to a close in Geneva. Three Grand Slam titles, an Olympic gold medal, and many memorable matches have defined his career. «One Last Backhand» is designed as a final evening of celebration, featuring sports, meet-and-greets, and a full program of events that begins in the afternoon.
For one day, the Palexpo Convention Center will become a gathering place for tennis fans. At 3 p.m., the event area opens with entertainment, games, drinks, food stands, mini-tennis, and padel. This will be followed by an autograph session at 4 p.m., before a padel exhibition match featuring the best Swiss players at 5 p.m. and a live concert at 6 p.m.
The pre-show begins at 7:30 p.m. with guests and surprises. The matches start at 8:00 p.m. Roger Federer, Gaël Monfils, and Andy Murray – three players who have accompanied Wawrinka on his journey at the highest level – will take the court as rivals, teammates, and friends. The closing ceremony is scheduled for 10:30 p.m.
