It has now been decided who will play for the Swiss championship title in the Championship Group from May 3, 2025 and who will have to fight against relegation to the Challenge League in the Relegation Group.
Since the 2023/24 season, the Super League has been played in two phases. In the first phase - the regular season - all teams play each other three times, meaning that 33 rounds are played at the end. The 12 teams are then divided into two groups. The first six teams (places 1 to 6) play in the Championship Group for the Super League title. The second six (places 7 to 12) have to fight against relegation in the Relegation Group. The points from the first 33 match days are carried over into the respective group.
Since Easter Monday, it has also been clear which teams will play in which group from May 3, 2025. The 33rd - and final - matchday of the regular season had it all once again - including shifts in the table.
FC Basel (1st), Servette FC (2nd), BSC Young Boys (3rd), FC Luzern (4th), FC Lugano (5th) and FC Lausanne-Sport (6th) are still in the race for the championship title.
The six top teams will now play each other again in five rounds to decide the 2024/25 Swiss champions. The 38th - and final matchday - is scheduled for May 24, 2025.
