Stacey Kent is one of the most sensitive voices in modern jazz. With over two million albums sold, hundreds of millions of streams, countless awards and a worldwide fan base, she inspires with her clear voice and subtle expressiveness. In the Neumünsterkirche, where she gave a memorable concert with the same trio in November 2023, she presents Songs From Other Places - a poetic program about wanderlust, places and memories. Together with saxophonist Jim Tomlinson and pianist Art Hirahara, she interprets songs by Jobim, Paul Simon, Lennon & McCartney as well as her own compositions with Nobel Prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro. An evening full of quiet intensity, musical elegance and touching stories.
