The aroma of freshly roasted OLMA sausages mingles with a cheerful babble of voices. Between the halls, visitors sample regional specialties, while outside the large parade of the guest canton of Valais with over 700 participants provides colorful moments. From 9 to 19 October 2025, St. Gallen will once again become the showcase of Switzerland with the 82nd OLMA: 340,000 guests and more than 600 exhibitors will demonstrate how much enjoyment, innovation and tradition there is in agriculture.
Under the motto "WOW WOW WALLIS." the host canton presents itself on over 1000 square meters with raclette, wine and innovations from agriculture and tourism. In Hall 7.0, the focus will be on typical livestock breeds, with the big parade through the city center on 11 October providing the festive highlight.
The OST - Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences - will present robots, drones and hands-on stations from health apps to AI photobooths in the special show "Where artificial intelligence works". Presentations will shed light on topics such as deepfakes and clever chatGPT questions. A new feature is the Startup Square in Hall 9.1A, where 14 young companies will be presenting fresh ideas.
The Swiss Paraplegic Foundation is celebrating its 50th anniversary with an adventure world including a wheelchair course, Mario Kart Challenge and wheelchair basketball. Art brings the special show "open art museum meets OLMA" to the trade fair: with powerful stories, an open studio and new perspectives.
The OLMA motto "Gnüsse a de OLMA" is reflected in the LAVEBA gourmet market, in the "Erlebnis Nahrig" village dedicated to Swiss grain and in the product show, which will put fruit in the spotlight in 2025. The culinary highlight is the "Battle of TASTE" with over 100 businesses, the winners of which will be honored in the arena on 18 October.
The olmaPLAZA remains the central meeting point with restaurants and lounges. A combined ticket for 73 francs with two admissions and an aperitif platter is new. Shareholders can also enjoy an exclusive lounge with guided tours and background discussions. Tickets are available from Ticketcorner. For eleven days, OLMA 2025 combines tradition and the future - and makes St. Gallen a place of real encounters.
