For the efficient handling of application processes, we use an applicant management system from Workday Limited, The Kings Building, 152–155 Church Street, Smithfield, Dublin 7, D07 A0TN, Ireland. Workday processes personal data on our behalf as a data processor within the meaning of the Swiss Data Protection Act. We ensure, through appropriate contractual and organisational measures, that your personal data is processed only according to our instructions and in accordance with applicable data protection law. Your personal data will be processed in Switzerland, the EU and the USA. An adequate level of protection is ensured by the certification of Workday, Inc., Pleasanton, CA, USA under the CHUS Data Privacy Framework and the conclusion of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

1.4 Definitions

1. If you apply via our applicant management system, by post, by email or via a referral link, we process your personal data, in particular contact details (e.g. First and last name, address, telephone number and email address) as well as other application data you have submitted (e.g. CV, educational certificates, language skills and information on work permit). The processing includes, in particular, the review of your documents, the conducting of telephone interviews and job interviews, and the decision on whether to offer you employment or reject your application.
2. If an individual assessment is planned as part of the selection process, we may, with your prior consent, forward your CV or selected application information to aptitude diagnostics partners used for this purpose.
3. The processing is carried out for the purpose of conducting the application and hiring process. Insofar as the employment relationship is subject to Swiss private law, we pay particular attention to Art. 328b OR; furthermore, we base the processing on the Swiss Data Protection Act and on our overriding private interests in the proper filling of vacancies.
2.6 Active sourcing on social networks
1. To find qualified candidates, we search in professional social networks and directly contact potentially suitable individuals. In doing so, we process only publicly available information, insofar as it is relevant to assessing a candidate’s suitability. We can highlight interesting profiles in recruitment tools and save them for the next stage of the selection process.
2. The processing is carried out for the purpose of specifically targeting suitable candidates and is based on our overriding private interest in efficient personnel recruitment.
2.7 Active sourcing via external recruitment agencies
1. To find qualified applicants, we can use external recruitment agencies that provide us with profiles of potentially suitable individuals. These profiles may contain personal data, unless they are anonymized. The information is passed on internally to the relevant department that carries out the selection process.

2.10 Job subscription
To ensure you are informed about new job offers, you have the option of subscribing to a job alert or viewing suitable positions via the career portal. The subscription can be limited by field of activity and location.
We need your e-mail address for the job alert subscription. The processing is based on your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, in particular via the unsubscribe link in the respective mailing.
No additional personal data is processed via an RSS feed simply for displaying new job offers.
2.11 Preparation of the employment contract
1. As soon as you receive a job offer, we will process your personal data in order to prepare the employment contract. For this purpose, the contract -relevant information is processed and forwarded internally to the responsible HR departments, for example your name, address, function, start date, place of work, salary and bank details.
2. As part of the recruitment and employment process, we may – to the extent legally permissible and necessary – also process particularly sensitive personal data or data relating to criminal proceedings, for example if this is necessary for the specific function or required by law. In doing so, we comply with the provisions of the GDPR and Swiss employment law.
